Beginning in July 2010, Pastor Roger Harms is serving as Intentional Interim Pastor of Christ the Redeemer. He will serve until a pastor is called by the congregation. Pastor Roger attended Concordia Seminary and Concordia Seminary-in-Exile in St. Louis, MO, graduating in 1974. He was ordained in the LCA in 1975. After serving congregations in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, he was trained as an Intentional Interim Pastor in 2003 and 2004. He has served five interim situations in congregations in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He is a member of the Interim Ministry Network and of the interim Ministry Association of the ELCA on which he serves as a board member.

My personal mission statement: "I will help a congregation, beginning with prayer and Bible reading, to do the work of moving on from their previous pastor to prepare for a newly called pastor. I intend to help the congregation to maintain healthy relationships and regular activities during the interim time between pastors."
