Currently serving as the Senior Pastor at CRLC, Pastor Bob was installed in 1976. He attended Wittenberg University and Hamma School of Theology. Pastor Bob has been involved in ecumenical community ministry as well as serving in a variety of ways at the Synod level. For several years he was Dean of the Cleveland West Clergy conference. Pastor Bob currently works to plan and promote events for the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Partnership for a Healthy Community.

After nearly 39 years as an ordained minister in the ELCA (formerly LCA), Pastor Bob Springer will be retiring from ministry after servicing Christ the Redeemer LC for 34 years.  Although his official retirement date is July 31, 2010 the last month will be considered vacation; his last worship service to mark the end of his public ministry will be June 27th  at 9:30AM and his duties will conclude on July 1st.
